Some think that they can learn better by themselves than with a teacher. Others think that then can lean better with teacher. What do you prefer?

Some people think that they can learn better by themselves whereas others think that they can learn better with teacher's help. I prefer to learn with teacher's help because I beleive that is the most effective way to learn the subjects.

First of all, it is always easy to get jump start on the subject from the teacher. This will give handle on the subject so that students will quickly get involved on the subject. Additionally teacher will bring more insight on the subject which may not available of the text book. The meaning of the subject may interpreted differently from what it supposed to meant.

Secondly, teachers can customize the difficulty level of the subject based on students capability and background. For instance, the same subject can be easy for some students but difficult for others. Also teachers can provide real time example which is related to the local knowledge of the student. Additionally, student get an opportunity to verify whether the understanding on the subject is correct or not. All these these things make the learning process easier and enjoyable.

Finally, teachers provide guidance on what to read, how to read to, where the materials are avilable and what would be the best approach to study particular subject and so on.
